The purposes of the Maryland Business Education Association:
- To promote and improve business education.
- To foster professional spirit and group consciousness among business teachers.
- To cooperate with local, state, sectional and national agencies in the filed of business education.
- To interpret business education, its values and requirements, to school administrators, to counselors, to boards of education, to business persons and to the public.
